According to the World Economic Forum, while 85 million jobs may be displaced by machines by 2025, 97 million new roles will emerge due to human-technology collaboration.

Beyond software engineering in customer service, AI-driven tools analyse vast datasets to deliver hyper-personalised responses, boosting efficiency and satisfaction. Meanwhile, in creative fields like marketing and design, AI generates content ideas, drafts campaigns, and produces visuals, allowing professionals to focus on strategy and storytelling.

Skill Gap in Workforce

Yet, this transformation comes with challenges. 

A staggering 94% of workers desire to learn AI-related skills, but only 5% of organisations currently offer training at scale. This gap threatens to widen as AI adoption accelerates, with 51% of business leaders reporting negative impacts from worsening IT skills shortages.

According to LinkedIn’s recent research, AI skills are shifting from an advantage to a baseline expectation, with 95% of Indian C-suite leaders prioritising AI proficiency over traditional experience. Skills like LLMs, AI literacy, and prompt engineering are in high demand across industries beyond tech, including education and marketing.

After the acquisition closes, over 230 Udacity professionals will join Accenture LearnVantage, which is set to launch its full range of services later this year.

Accenture LearnVantage will partner with technology providers, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft, to offer generative AI content, industry-specific tech training, and cloud certifications for their mutual clients. Additionally, it will collaborate with top learning platforms like Pluralsight, Coursera, Workera, and Skillsoft.
