Gemini Enterprise to Boost Accenture's AI Rollout

Accenture has explained how newly introduced Gemini Enterprise will further assist its effort to revolutionize companies with AI innovations in partnership with Google Cloud.

Launched on Oct. 9, Gemini Enterprise brings Google’s AI tech to enterprise employees via a chat interface.

In a media release, Accenture spelled out what this means for its alliance with Google Cloud, a partnership that is already helping businesses to achieve operational efficiencies via AI.

Scott Alfieri, Google Business Group lead at Accenture, stated: “Working alongside Google Cloud, we’re dedicated to empowering our clients’ transformation using the cutting-edge AI capabilities of Gemini Enterprise.

“We’re creating a foundation for innovation for our clients, on a strong digital core with seamless data and AI support. This means centralizing workflows, supercharging AI agent development, and driving adoption at scale — ultimately fueling long-term success and propelling businesses into the future.”

One area that will benefit is Accenture and Google Cloud’s generative AI Center of Excellence, which is expanding with agentic capabilities. The COE — powered by Google Gemini models and now with Gemini Enterprise — provides clients with the resources required to scale and orchestrate multi-agent systems.

Accenture highlighted examples that it said it has helped address complex business challenges using AI.

Among these are Japanese telecoms and media company JCOM, which has collaborated with Accenture and Google Cloud on a project known as JAICO.

This AI-driven initiative summarizes hundreds of thousands of conversations a month at service centers, enabling operators to handle inquiries more efficiently. JCOM now wants to use generative AI to deliver “hyper personalized” customer experiences.

Accenture also explained how the partnership helped the Radisson Hotel Group to automatically personalize advertisements at scale in multiple languages in hours instead of weeks using AI — a process that increased revenues from campaigns by more than 20%.

A third beneficiary has been a large U.S. health insurer, where the integration of Google Agentspace with cloud-based enterprise collaboration and data tools has provided a foundation to streamline workflows and enable superior customer service.

Beyond this, Accenture also highlighted how a recent competition it hosted has spawned a host of agents — including next-gen, conversational and AgentEngine agents — that can be applied across an array of industries and are now available through Google Cloud Marketplace.

In total, more than 450 engineered agents built by Accenture are currently in the marketplace, which will be accessible directly within Gemini Enterprise.

The potential for further growth of the partnership was acknowledged by Google Cloud vice president, Victor Morales. He stated in the release: “With Gemini Enterprise, we are making it possible for every employee and workflow to benefit from the latest advancements in Google’s AI. We’re combining our AI leadership with Accenture’s strategic expertise to help clients solve their most complex challenges and achieve measurable outcomes.”
